This week I had to visit a caterpillar track treat manufacturer and assess how the production and quality of a customer’s order was going.  This is quite exciting as I really enjoy this work and with a small team each specializing in their own areas we cover almost all the manufacturing industry.

 They begin with making the rubber strapping and adding the steel reinforcing wire for strengthening.

 

The next step is to cut prepare the layers of rubber and steel inserts for preparation of the treat to be pressed into shape

 

 

 

Then they have to add the layers to the press to be shaped

 

 

Now you have an image of the finished product coming along

 

And what it looks like in the end once its completed
